My First Halloween!

Well, the day before we went to the mall to get picture's taken. Mommy thought it would be a good idea to just throw some diapers and wipes in her purse and leave to diaper bag in the truck. Picture's went good, cried a little because the photographer was a stranger with dark hair. I don't know why this has an effect on her, but it seems she is scared of dark haired people she doesn't know. Anyways, I put her in the Baby Bjorn after picture's and I felt her going to the bathroom! Out her costume, down her leg and sock, onto Mommy's pants, then finally resting on the food court floor! So here I am, after I changed her in the bathroom, carrying my baby in just a diaper through the mall with a garbage bag filled with poopy clothes! Thank goodness for travel oxy clean or I would have had to buy a new pair of pants. Halloween was a good night, though. We went to Kellan's parents house. Had a nice dinner and gave trick-or-treater's candy.

It's Finally Over!

After close to five very long months, hay is finally over! I didn't think it would ever end! These are some things I am looking forward to this winter.

1. My husband taking over baby duties for a while. (I'm dreaming of course :)

2. Staying at home all cozy on the couch with hot chocolate.

3. A much needed massage.

4. A shorter hair cut. (Rhilynn has started grabbing hair!)

5. Our two year anniversary. (Nov. 1)

6. Kellan sleeping in longer, I won't have to hear him getting up so early.

7. Rhilynn crawling. (Did I say that?)

8. Seeing family during the holiday's.

9. Not having to worry about getting in a bathing suit with all my stretch marks! (Scary!)

10.Showing Rhilynn snow!

Rhilynn Jo at 12 weeks old

Rhilynn at 6 weeks old

Harvest is nearly over!

I can't believe our baby girl is already three months old! And I'm finally getting to our page to update! This is a picture of her when she was one week old. Look at that dark hair! I love being a mom and I am so lucky to get to stay home with her full time. She smiles, blows bubbles, rolls over from her belly to her back. I think she's starting to laugh, she has this high pitched, almost gulp sound. It's cute!

It's A Beautiful Baby Girl!

Rhilynn Jo Wegner was born on Thursday, June 5th at 8:06pm. She weighed 7lbs. 12.4ozs. and is 21 & 1/4in. long. My water broke at 2:30am with no contractions. We got to the hospital around 4:15am. They needed to speed up the labor so I opted for an epidural, which I am so glad I got since I pushed from 4:30pm till about 7:30pm. The last hour the epidural did not work due to the fact she was stuck in my pelvis and would never have been born naturally unless I didn't want to have another child. I went into the O.R. around 7:45pm to have a cesarean. She is so beautiful and it was worth every second of pain! I can't wait for the next one and I can have a planned birth because I'm not shaped to deliver naturally.

Baby slowly on it's way!

On Tuesday, we had an ultrasound, because the doctor thought I was measuring larger than I should be. The baby looks to be about 7lbs. 10oz. right now. We have just nine days until my due date. The doctor said to do a lot of walking! Yeah! My favorite thing to do right now! Note my sarcasm. Anyway, we will keep this updated if I go into labor anytime this year!

Our life at the moment

We just moved about 14 miles closer to Othello from the farm. I stopped working at ACE and will be a stay at home mommy! Right now my focus is putting the house together, which feels like harder work than going back to a job! But, maybe it just feels that way because I'm moving a little slower now days and get tired really easy. Just six more weeks to go! Then we will know what tired really is, right? Kellan finally bought his Ford pick-up he's been dreaming of, and me. Hopefully we will start harvesting soon, if the weather warms up so the alfalfa can grow!
